The band first came together in the summer of 2002 to produce the Symphony of Silence CD. Among the musicians playing were Pitchshifter's Jason Bowld, well-known multi-instrumentalist David Coulter on violin, and ZZ Birmingham on harmonica.

The current band line up features Ben Dalby on vocals and rhythm guitar, Jolyon Lockett on lead guitar, Mojo Billington on bass, and Jon Wright on drums.

Jolyon Lockett is a tasteful and generous artist in his own right, evoking the spirit of Factory Records to take Ben Dalby's songs to another level. Mojo Billington lets her fingers do the talking, underpinning the music with her clear, uncluttered bass lines.

Jon Wright is a relative newcomer to the band, but is already navigating the tangled rhythms of Ben Dalby's songs with aplomb, and is already requesting access to a backing mic....
